Facility Management Framework for Retail Adidas®

The Facility Management & Workplace Services EMEA department is responsible for service management, asset management, fault tracking, contract management and technical advice for the EMEA part of the Adidas® accommodation portfolio.

The global portfolio consists of approximately 125 offices, 40 distribution centres, 7 factories, 3,600 shops and 70 showrooms. A structure has been established for the shops and showrooms in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) to organise all services more efficiently. This structure makes it easier to generate management information.

In addition, the technical due diligence of the shops and showrooms ensures that there is an accurate picture of their current condition through a thorough inspection of the spaces, locations and surroundings.

The standardisation of the most important assets (air conditioning systems, security, lighting, fire alarm systems) provides a solid foundation for setting up a purchasing strategy and contract management. Following the implementation of the structure for a more efficient organisation of the department's services in the DACH region, implementation in the other regions in EMEA will follow.
