Water Storage Volkerak-Zoommeer Primary Dikes (Brabantse Delta Water Authority)
The government has decided to give large rivers more space.
If river discharges are very high at the same time, the water level in the Hollandsch Diep and Haringvliet can rise to a dangerous level because the river water can no longer flow away. By temporarily storing river water in the Volkerak-Zoommeer, the water level is lowered by approximately 0.1 meters. When these barriers open, the river water flows back to the sea via the Haringvliet.
Contracting strategy and the UAV-gc contract
Aratis played a significant role for the Brabantse Delta Water Authority in determining the contracting strategy and draughting the UAV-gc contract. Additionally, Aratis defined the contract management strategy and provided contract management during the implementation.
