Joop de Jong

Joop is a contract manager with a passion for the maritime sector and water sports. For example, he studied Higher Marine Engineering, started his career at Heerema, and sails in international competitions.
Initially, Joop gained a lot of experience in the quality management of maritime and civil engineering projects and became an execution specialist. He trained in project management at Rijkswaterstaat and also developed there as a contract manager for integrated contracts for management and new construction in road and water infrastructure. Some of Joop's projects include the New Waterway Storm Surge Barrier, the MaVa A15, and the Theemsweg route.
