As a senior procurement and contract manager, Joop has extensive experience with civil engineering projects and offshore (renewable) energy projects, from initiation through execution.
His specialisations within this area are draughting contracts, conducting negotiations, and contract management. This is how he develops and implements procurement strategies for politically sensitive projects. Joop connects project teams, ensures smooth processes, and is a team motivator. He has knowledge of the European Procurement Law 2012, FIDIC contracts, UAV-GC 2005, and of negotiations in large EPC contracts. His project experience includes, among other things, the sea and land cable contracts for offshore wind projects, specifically on the platform, including installation and interfaces.
