Wybran Jansen

Partner and Senior Consultant

Wybran has been working in the wind industry for quite some time, holding various roles from project manager of execution at Vestas and Enercon, to contract and procurement manager for onshore and offshore wind projects in the Netherlands and abroad for Nuon and Vattenfall.

For Wybran, wind energy is his field of work. Procurement and contract management are central to this. He successfully combines and integrates the typically defined world of contracts with the more complex stakeholder management. Wybran seeks nuance to ensure the requirements and wishes of the client and manager are met, while the risks are borne by the party best suited for it.

Additionally, in recent years, Wybran has been a guest lecturer on "Strategic Procurement of Wind Projects" at the Arnhem and Nijmegen University of Applied Sciences, and is also a keynote speaker at various events within the wind energy sector.

In addition to procuring Balance of Plant and wind turbines for projects such as Sandbank, Kentish Flats Extension, and Wieringermeer, Wybran draughted and tendered the complete contract for the decommissioning of the nearshore wind farm Lely (Nuon) and led the tender process for the Emergency Response Plan Subsea Cables and the resulting first call-off for the repair of the OWEZ export cable.
